New Haven County Fire Extinguisher Service               

While we provide annual service to your fire extinguishers, some insurance companies require a monthly check. The above video will describe what you should look for. If all the items are ok, there is a space on the rear of the tag to intial and date to show that the extinguisher was checked. If you are not sure what to look for, or would like us to do this for you , that service is available at a reasonable cost.

Our professionally qualified and equipped service technicians will perform a multi-point assessment on every fire extinguisher we service on a annual basis. With each fire extinguisher service our company provides:

• Visual inspection of all extinguishers on site
• Complete external inspection of extinguishers
• Check for Hydrostatic and required maintenance service test dates
• Check for the proper weight of the extinguishers
• Visual inspection of pressure gauges (If present)
• Removal of tamper seals and safety pull pins
• Removal of discharge hoses and check for continuity if required
• Inspection of the valve assemblies
• Cleaning and proper installation of all extinguishers
• Review of extinguisher placement, sizes, and types
• New certification tag to keep you in fire code compliance
