New Haven County Fire Extinguisher Service               

All of NHC Fire service personnel are trained in the standards, installation, and maintenance of your portable fire extinguishers.  We are unique in that in addition to the training on the items mentioned previously, all of our service personnel are FIREFIGHTERS for area communities .

Our Business

The number and size of portable extinguishers required is set forth in the National Fire Protection Association Standard 10, The Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers. Our staff is trained to determine the building occupancy, the potential fire hazards and the anticipated class of fire before recommending the proper type and size of extinguishers required to meet codes. We make recommendations without obligations and can assure prompt delivery from our warehouse.

New Haven County Fire Extinguisher follows the inspection and maintenance guidelines set by fire extinguisher manufacturers, local and state codes and NFPA 10 that regulates them.
